Privacy Policy (PomodoroFlip)
PomodoroFlip (the "App") is an Android app provided by Blorpdrift Lab (the "Developer"). This policy explains how personal information is handled when you use the App.
1. Data Collection
The App does not collect any personal information.
- No personally identifiable information is collected, such as your name, email address, or location
- No device identifiers (such as advertising ID) are collected
- No usage analytics are collected
- No crash reports are collected
2. Network Communication
The App does not perform any internet communication. It works entirely offline, and no data is ever sent to a server. The App is not even granted the permission needed to access the network (the Internet permission).
3. Data Stored Within the App
The App stores the following data only on your device. This data is never transmitted anywhere.
- Records of completed work sessions (completion time and duration)
- Records of interrupted work (time of interruption and how long you had worked)
- Records of breaks (end time and duration)
- Your work/break duration settings and notification sound settings
The work, interruption and break records are used for the totals and charts on the History screen (day, week and month).
This data is deleted from your device when you uninstall the App (except for exported files and backups, described below).
Exporting Your History
From the Data Management screen, you can export your history as a JSON file, either saving it on your device or sharing it with another app. Exporting happens only when you choose to do it, and you choose where the file goes. Once shared, the data is handled according to the policies of the app or service you shared it with.
Android Backup
The App supports Android's backup feature. If backup is turned on in your device settings, Android may include the data above in your Google Account backup or in a transfer to a new device. This is done by Android itself; the App does not send any data.
4. Sharing with Third Parties
The App does not provide or share any data with third parties (and since it never communicates externally, there is no mechanism by which it could), except when you share it yourself using the export feature above.
5. Permissions
The App uses the following permissions, all limited to what the timer and its notifications need to work.

The App also includes a permission added automatically by a standard Android library (DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION), which is used only inside the App and never to communicate with anything outside it.
The App also uses the accelerometer to tell whether your phone is face up or face down (no permission is required for this). Sensor readings are used only for that check on the spot and are never stored or sent anywhere.
6. Third-Party Material Credits
Some of the App's notification sounds use Google's "Material Design Sound Resources" (CC BY 4.0 license).
